Account & Data Deletion Request

Fire Logbooks Australia, comprising Fire Logbooks Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 24 617 351 989) and the application FLBA Digital through Fire Logbooks Australia (Digital) Pty Ltd (ABN 57 686 172 930) values your privacy and is committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

If you wish to delete your Fire Logbooks Australia account and associated personal data, please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Deletion

  2. Provide the email address linked to your Fire Logbooks Australia account.
  3. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
  4. You will receive confirmation once your request is complete.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When your account is deleted, we will permanently remove:

  • Your account details (username, email address, profile information).
  • Authentication credentials (passwords, login history).
  • Associated usage data tied to your account.

What Data May Be Retained

In certain cases, we are legally required to retain some information, including but not limited to:

  • Financial transaction records (kept for 7 years) for taxation and accounting compliance.
  • Fraud prevention or security-related data.
  • Data required under applicable law or regulatory obligations.

All retained data will be securely stored and only used for compliance purposes.

Retention Period

  • Account data is deleted within 30 days of your request.
  • Legally required data (e.g. financial records) is retained securely for up to 7 years.
